“ Went to the food truck at the NYS Fair. Got gyros for the whole family. Service was amazing, genuinely friendly, super fast turnaround. And the food itself was AMAZING. We always look forward to gyros at the fair and this was the first time trying Habibi’s and it blew every other gyro out of the water. 10/10 recommend!! ”
“ If I could give this 6 stars I would. Holy hell this is some good halal. Guy running the truck was an angel. Very reasonable price and a huge portion. ”
“ Amazing. We came here from next door at Oasis Market, the owner said he recommended Habibi's Halal Gyro. I tend to prefer Doner because I am Turkish, so I'm usually not a fan of Gyros or Shawarma (especially because I get it literally just meat and bread which can be kind of weird) but this place really takes the cake for the first time I REALLY LIKED Gyro. I got the Lamb gyro, grape leaf wraps, and a sprite and it was all wonderful. The flavor was amazing. My boyfriend got Chicken gyro with Falafel side and said it was the best Falafel he has ever had. His brother and my mom both got Lamb gyro with everything on it and we all collectively decided this is the best Gyro location in Syracuse. The owners are also super friendly! Next time I get a chanceto stop by, I'll update with photos, I was too excited and ate it too fast to take any today ”
“ Been here for the second time and I can assure you this place is absolutely amazing. This time I order the lamb plate (first time was gyro), and you can tell all the ingredients are as fresh as could be, starting with the lamb and all the way to the veggies. If you're looking for halal, or just a delicious meal to grab, you won't be disappointed with Habibi's. Definitely recommend. ”
“ I've gotten food here two days in a row now. Syracuse is incredibly fortunate to have them in town. I'm blown away by the depth of flavors in their food and sauces. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is ready quickly. I'd say it's the best gyro I've had in Syracuse, but it's the best one I've had anywhere. ”
“ Was on my way to another spot and decided to give this one a try. I’m glad I did. Absolutely incredible. Even the rice was seasoned beautifully. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. I will definitely be coming back. ”
“ Habibi food truck is parked outside in front of Oasis. I got the vegetarian falafel over rice with lettuce and tomato. There was even a grape leave packed inside, plenty of falafel balls, rice, (the really good stuff), and a white sauce and he asked if i wanted hot sauce (appreciated that!) and i said just a little, and it was the perfect amount. There were pita strips on top. It was all very fresh and delicious, and it was more than enough for a couple meals. Very reasonably priced too, 10. I was also impressed that he changed gloves between handling meat and making my vegetarian food, and also when exchanging money. Very professional and I will definitely be back here! I included a couple photos to give you an idea what it looked like. These were taken from me sampling it in my car in the parking lot of Trader Joe's up the road. The smell of the food was so tempting, I could not wait till I got home. lol oh and it looked and tasted much better than the photos show! :) Make sure you go into OASIS grocery store too! It's fabulous! ”
“ Great food. It's worth going out of your way to try this halal... Willy is a good man and a great cook. ”
